TimeLaps Services — Camera Specifications

What we put on your site

Every camera we deploy is built specifically for Saudi Arabia’s conditions — heat, dust, and sites that run around the clock. Here’s a straightforward breakdown of the hardware, software, and infrastructure behind each installation.

IP66 rated — fully sealed against dust and water

Every enclosure is completely dust-tight and protected against high-pressure water jets from any direction. It handles sandstorms and site washdowns without any intervention from us or the client.

Two camera options — both built for professional-grade output

We offer two Canon DSLR configurations. The right one depends on your site footprint, how far the key action is from the camera position, and how much detail your reporting needs.

Standard

24.3 Megapixel

24.3 MP
Native resolution6000 × 4000
Lens range10 – 300 mm
Autofocus points51 points
4K

The 50MP option is the better fit for large-scale giga-projects, infrastructure work, or any site where you need to zoom in on a specific zone without losing detail. For most standard commercial and residential sites, the 24MP performs well at a lower cost.

You can check in on your site from anywhere

The system connects over 4G/LTE and uploads directly to our cloud platform. Admins, project managers, and client stakeholders all get their own login with appropriate permissions.

Live remote access

Log in anytime to check the latest image or adjust camera settings remotely — no site visit needed.

4-way data storage

Images are stored across local SD, NAS, our cloud server, and an optional client-side backup location.

Instant image library

Every photo is indexed by timestamp. Search by date, browse by week, or jump to a specific day.

Photos that are useful beyond the timelapse

The same high-resolution captures used for timelapse video can be pulled independently for site reports, board presentations, or client updates — without any extra effort on your end.

Before / after comparisons

Drag-to-compare any two dates to show how much has changed. Useful for milestones and handovers.

Snapshot galleries

Automatically organised image archives, browseable by month, phase, or custom tag.

Side-by-side view

Compare any two camera angles or time periods side by side — works well for stakeholder meetings.

Solar-powered, so location is never a constraint

Every system runs on mono-crystalline solar panels with an integrated battery — no mains power required. The panels charge in 4–6 hours of direct sun, and the battery reserve keeps the system running for up to 7 days with no sunlight at all — which means even extended overcast periods or dust storms won’t interrupt your capture.
